I didn't go to the Lopez because I couldn't find them, but there are plenty of carts in the park, and they're all delicious. Just make sure they put Nutella on them, because there are some Sam's brands that aren't as good as Nutella.
Marquesitas in Cancun, delicious and with a great atmosphere...
They are very tasty, there are many combinations, to suit the customer's taste, and you have to wait because they have a good clientele but it is worth it.
I'm in love with marquesitas. I've tried López at Parque Las Palapas and at Beto Ávila Stadium. You can customize yours, or they have the classic ones. My favorite is the savory one with pickled chiles. They're very generous with the filling; they don't skimp on the ingredients.

I liked them a lot. They're very good. I had them with a coffee they were selling across the street, which is where I took the picture. They're very good.
They're currently in front of the municipal palace because of the construction at the palapa park. I ordered the traditional marquesita with Nutella and it was delicious, with a generous amount of Nutella and cheese.
Very tasty and varied, I really liked that the things they use for the awnings were of very good quality, like the peanut butter.

Wonderful local dessert of the region. Super crunchy and filled with cheese and Nutella. The location at the square is Amazing & buzzing with locals in the evenings, away from the usual flashy Cancun tourist traps.
